EDC5033-8 - Excellence and Innovation: English Language Arts in the Common Core and Long Term Improvements

In this course, students will analyze the English Language Arts Common Core standards and their potential impact on student achievement. The standards will be examined in relation to implementation, response to intervention, and professional learning communities. Students will demonstrate mastery by developing a long term school improvement plan that will include the application of professional learning communities to increase professional development and student achievement.
