PL-5016 - Instructional Supervision and Leadership for PK-12 Principals Semester Credits: 3 Weeks: 8
In this course, students will develop skills for instructional supervision and leadership for PK-12 teachers and paraprofessionals. Both formal and informal methods of supervision are presented in addition to strategies for mentoring, coaching, and directing professional development. Emphasis is placed upon supervisory leadership as it applies to both individuals and teams working to enhance student achievement in PK-12 settings.
