NUR-7004 - Teaching with Technology in Nursing Education

Semester Credits: 3 Weeks: 8

In this course, students will learn the importance of reflection on teaching with technology in nursing education in the classroom and clinical settings. The goal of this course is to ensure that students have an understanding of technology tools that can create diverse and meaningful learning experiences for students. The course is designed to examine current technology trends including simulation, online learning, learning management systems, instructional design, web 2.0 tools, computer assisted learning, presentation software, EHRs, and videos. Through discussion and sharing, students refine their skills in using these tools to practice as an educator.
