PSY-8109 - Cognitive and Personality Assessment

Semester Credits: 3 Weeks: 8

This doctoral-level course presents an overview of the assessment of personality and cognition throughout the lifespan. The course will provide a conceptual base for psychological assessment, define cognition and personality according to current research, review commonly used assessment measures, and discuss the interpretation of findings. DSM-V is used for disorder classifications. Considerations of diversity in assessment practices and ethical issues are highlighted.
