Golden Key International Honor Society (GK)
- Golden Key is the world’s largest collegiate honor society for undergraduate and graduate students
- Participation in the society is open to all academic disciplines
- Membership is by invitation only and is sent to eligible students on a periodic basis
- Undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students must have a minimum GPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale and complete at least 30 credit-hours at the University
- Students who have not received a membership invitation but believe they meet the University’s academic eligibility criteria can submit an online application at https://goldenkey.org/golden-key-eligibility for review
- Membership benefits include opportunities for individual growth through the three pillars: academics, leadership, and service. Phi Chapter Omega Nu Lambda is the only national collegiate honor society exclusive to online students. ONL strives to help make online education a better experience by acknowledging academic achievement, rewarding online experience by offering scholarship opportunities, and creating environments that promote connectivity among other Omega Nu Lambda members throughout the United States. Once you are a member, you will receive an Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society Certificate of Recognition, honor cords, Omega Nu Lambda lapel pin, and an Omega Nu Lambda Crest decal mailed directly to the address you provide when you accept your invitation to join Omega Nu Lambda.

SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society
SALUTE is the first national academic honor society established for student veterans, and active military, in 2-year and 4-year institutions of higher education. Another unique element of our honor society includes a 4-tier system, which is designed to encourage undergraduate student veterans to strive to improve their GPAs and advance to higher tier levels (and scholarship brackets) in the honor society during their academic careers.

Pi Lambda Theta is the international honor society and professional association for students in the field of education. The Dean of the Sanford College of Education nominates students to Pi Lambda Theta who have met rigorous requirements. Membership in this honor society offers students access to scholarships, research grants, career search, and leadership conferences, as well as support from the National Board of Professional Teacher Standards. A gold cord worn during commencement exercises designates Pi Lambda Theta graduates.

SIGMA TAU DELTA, INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY
Sigma Tau Delta, International English Honor Society, was founded in 1924 at Dakota Wesleyan University. The Society strives to confer distinction for high achievement in English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies. Provide, through its local chapters, cultural stimulation on college campuses and promote interest in literature and the English language in surrounding communities. Alpha Phi Sigma (APS)
- Alpha Phi Sigma is the only National Criminal Justice Honor Society for students in the fields of criminal justice, homeland security and criminal justice related fields
- The Society recognizes academic excellence of undergraduate and graduate students of criminal justice/homeland security specializations
- Alpha Phi Sigma is well represented in the professional ranks of all areas in the criminal justice field
- Undergraduate students shall be enrolled or a graduate of the University with a specialization in criminal justice or homeland security fields, have completed at least 50% of their program, have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale with a minimum grade point average of 3.5 in courses in criminal justice and/or homeland security, and who are in the top 20% of their class
- A minimum of four courses of the above course work shall be in the criminal justice or homeland security specialization
- Graduate students shall be enrolled in a graduate program in Master’s, or Doctorate in the criminal justice specialization or homeland security specialization, have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and a 3.5 grade point average in criminal justice and homeland security courses
- Undergraduate and Graduate students must have declared a specialization in either Homeland Security or a Criminal Justice specialization, or related field

- NSLS is the nation’s largest leadership honor society
- Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction
- Participation in the society is open to all graduate level majors
- Master’s and doctoral students must have a 3.3 cumulative GPA and should have completed at least five courses in their program

- Membership is open to MHA students who have completed 18 credit hours and have maintained a 3.5 GPA

Psi Chi is an international honor society whose purpose shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology and to advance the science of psychology. Undergraduate and graduate students accepted for membership in Psi Chi are recognized for their academic achievement and devotion to the field of psychology. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS). Nominees can be identified by the platinum and blue cord they wear during the ceremony.

Lambda Epsilon Chi
- Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) is a National Honor Society for students of Paralegal Studies/Legal Studies.
- The purpose of the JFK School of Law at National University Chapter of LEX is to recognize persons who have demonstrated superior academic performance in an established program of paralegal studies/legal studies in which they earn a Paralegal Certificate.
- Undergraduates who have pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, attained a minimum GPA of 3.5 or better in Legal Studies courses, and who have a minimum overall GPA of a 3.25 or better are invited to apply for membership in LEX.
- Paralegal Certificate students who have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or better in Legal Studies courses are invited to apply for membership in LEX.
- Application for membership is made through the JFK School of Law at National University Program Chair, Legal Studies.
