DIS9501DMFT - Doctoral Dissertation Research I

In this course sequence (four courses) in which you will work progressively toward completing Doctorate of Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT) dissertation milestone requirements. The first course in this sequence will be assigned a letter grade that contributes to your GPA. Each additional course will provide further guidance in the progression from the concept paper (CP) to the final oral defense of the applied dissertation. Throughout the remaining courses in this sequence candidates work independently, but must communicate with their respective dissertation chairs at least once per week throughout the term in the course room. Because of the independent nature of work in these courses, the last three doctoral project courses are graded by using Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.
