PSY6902 - Practicum II

Semester Credits: 3 Weeks: 12

Prerequisites: Approval by Director of Clinical Training

Practicum II is the second of two practicum courses that students may take. Students are responsible for finding their own outside supervised experiences. This course provides students with an opportunity to engage in various levels of supervised practice. The on-site supervisor will provide regular supervision of the student. The University faculty will maintain regular contact with students and site supervisors and will facilitate the process of learning and knowledge integration. Students must spend a minimum of 16 hours per week at their practicum sites. The remaining hours may be used in educational pursuits such as reading relevant material, completing course assignments and/or attending workshops, seminars or conferences.
