MSA-5002 - Managerial Accounting

Semester Credits: 3 Weeks: 8

In this course, you will develop practical knowledge of managerial accounting functions including identification, measurement, analysis, and interpretation of information to inform decision-making related to company operations.  Various operational metrics and events are translated into useful information for internal decision-making. Managerial accountants use cost systems to monitor, aggregate, and report on company expenditures and revenues. Critical functions include cost-volume-profit analysis, analysis of reporting and financial statements, performance evaluations, differential analysis and product pricing, capital investment analysis, budgeting, and just-in-time manufacturing.
