MGT-4210 - Sustainable Operations Management

In this course, you will examine sustainable business operations and production models. You will consider the impact of operations decisions on the external environment and stakeholders. In this course, you will also learn about the implications of evolving business models and technological innovations.

This course focuses on how operational management can improve the performance and competitiveness of an organization and the country or region in which it operates. All traditional issues of operational management, such as operational strategy, logistics, supply chain management, service management, quality, and processes, are included in the course. Industry clusters and innovation are also considered areas of interest. In addition, broader issues are also addressed and include sustainable development and its impact on the environment, industrial clusters, sustainability strategies, and innovation.
